What is a Zello Work network?

  • Updated

This article is written for: Zello Work Zello Friends & Family.

Each Zello Work trial includes access to a private workspace that hosts your configured users and channels. This workspace—called a "network"—serves as your company's communications hub and is only accessible via invitation, ensuring secure, targeted, and intentional interactions.

Your company's network is created when you sign up for Zello Work. Please note that this private domain name can't be changed without establishing a new network, so we recommend choosing it carefully when you establish your trial.

A few notes about networks:

  • Networks are what ensure your company's communications remain secure and private. They're a key differentiator between Zello Friends & Family and Zello Work.
  • Your network name is a required sign-in credential on the Zello app.
  • Admins access their  console—the network's "mission control" where settings, channels, and users are added and configured—via the URL [yournetworkname].zellowork.com.
