What is the ‘Everyone’ channel?

Channels facilitate group communication on your network. They are established and maintained by a network admin who is charged with adding users to and configuring settings for the channel.

When a new Zello Work network is created, a channel called Everyone is added by default. The Everyone channel automatically includes all network users and is assigned the channel type of Team. It provides a space for everyone included in a single Zello Work network to communicate as a group.

By proxy, having an Everyone channel adds all users as direct contacts to each other, effectively ensuring everyone can communicate via 1:1 messages as well.

Deleting the Everyone Channel

Because the Everyone channel provides a forum for all network users to communicate, it may become overwhelming and/or unhelpful. To delete this channel:

  1. Sign in to the management console at [yournetworkname].zellowork.com

  2. From the taskbar, select Channels
