Please note you should first confirm your BluSkye device is configurable with a Windows PC. This information can be found in your user guide.

Confirming your device’s mode

Desktop users should configure their BluSkye device to mode 7.

To confirm what mode your BluSkye is in, simultaneously press and hold the SW3, SW4, and SW5 buttons (the three buttons on either side of the BluSkye, excluding the PTT button). When the LED light turns purple, release the buttons and listen for a series of quick, successive beeps — the number of beeps heard indicates the mode. (For example, if you hear 7 beeps, you’re in mode 7.)

Changing your device's mode

Replicate the steps above. When the BluSkye has completed the beep cycle, press the power button the number of times that correlates with the mode number. For example, if configuring the device for Windows desktop, press the power button seven times.

Pairing BluSkye to your PC

Begin these instructions with the BluSkye turned OFF.

  1. While off, press and hold the BluSkye’s power button for 6 seconds.

Note: The BluSkye will cycle through two sets of beeps: one played at the 3 second mark, and then another played at the 6 second mark. Do not release the power button until the second set of beeps has played and the power button flashes red and blue.

  2. Open your PC’s start menu and go to Settings>Bluetooth and other devices.

Note: If asked about a passcode, click Yes. This device doesn't have a passcode and consequently doesn't require anything be entered.

  5. When your BluSkye has been successfully paired, it will beep twice and its LED light will flash blue.

  6. From your PC’s settings, go to System > Sound.
