Each Zello Work trial includes access to a private workspace that hosts your configured users and channels. This workspace—called a "network"—serves as your company's communications hub and is only accessible via invitation, ensuring secure, targeted, and intentional interactions.
Users can only join your workspace if they're invited. Two groups can invite new users to a trial:

Your network's admin is the person who initiated the trial and has control over its setup. Admins can invite users two ways:

Trials last 14 days from when the private workspace was first established. Users will always be aware of how much time is left in their trial, but only the network's admin can purchase a subscription. If a trial ends and a subscription hasn't been purchased, users will lose access to their network.
A trial countdown will appear in the bottom-right corner of the app.
Inviting Users From the App
This section explains the process for inviting new users from the Zello app on iOS and Android devices. While both admins and existing users can send new users an invite from the Contacts tab, their capabilities to do so slightly differ. Additionally, admins can invite users from the management console, as explained below.
iOS Devices
- 1. Open the Zello app and select Zello Work. Enter your username, password, and network name, then tap Log In.
Please note: Your network name is the name assigned to your private workspace at trial creation. This name cannot be changed.
2. Open the Contacts tab (1), located at the bottom of your screen. Then tap Invite (2).
3. Choose if you'd like to share a link or invite the new user via SMS or email. Please note that links are only sharable during active trials; additionally, this option is exclusive to admins.
Links can be shared to any platform. For example, you may choose this option if you'd like to send an invite link over Slack.
4. The user you've invited will receive a message like the following:

When a user opens an invite, they'll be automatically signed in to the network you've invited them to join. - During an active trial, existing users can invite others to join the workspace. Please note that this functionality ceases to exist once you've converted your network to a paid subscription; thereafter, only admins can invite new users to the network.
If you're an existing user and you'd like to invite someone to join your company's network, follow the steps below:
1. Open the Zello app. From the log in screen, tap Zello Work. Enter your username, password, and network name, then tap Log In.

2. Tap Contacts (1), located at the bottom of your screen. Then tap Invite (2).
3. Choose if you'd like to invite this new user via either SMS or email. Enter their contact information, then tap Invite.

- 1. Open the Zello app and tap Zello Work, located at the bottom of the sign in screen. Enter your username, password, and network name, then tap Sign In.
2. Open the Contacts tab (1). Then tap Invite Coworkers (2).
3. Select if you'd like to share a link with the user, or invite them via SMS/email.
4. The user you've invited will receive a message like the following:

2. Open the Contacts tab (1). Then tap Invite Coworkers (2).
3. Select By Email or By SMS, depending on your preferred invite method. Enter the person's contact information, then tap Invite.

Invite Users From the Management Console (Admins Only)
Admins are tasked with managing their network's users, settings, channels, and configurations. As such, they are granted access to Zello's management console, which serves as the network's mission control.
The management console is not accessible to everyday users. Only the network admin—in this case, the person who started the trial—can access the console. If you choose to convert your trial to a subscription, we recommend doing so from the console.
Admins of a trial network add users by either sending an invite link or configuring the user directly from the console's Users tab.
Please note: There are many ways to add new users, depending on your network's needs. Once you convert your trial to a subscription, we recommend referencing this article for more information on adding new users.

2. Select Users from the taskbar. Then click + New User.
3. Create a username and password for the new user, then enter the contact information you'd like to send the invite (email or phone number). When complete, click Create and Invite User.
