Managing Your In-App Subscription

  • Updated

This article is written for: Zello Work Zello Friends & Family.

Zello Work subscriptions can be purchased either in-app or through the Management Console. If you purchased your subscription through the Zello app—and as a result, you were charged by either Apple's App Store or Google Play—you manage what's called an in-app subscription.

With this subscription type, adjustments (i.e. changes in user count or pricing tier) can be made through your Zello app.

Please Note

This article is only applicable to in-app subscriptions; for assistance configuring your subscription purchased through the Management Console, see this article.

Adjusting Your Subscription

To adjust their subscriptions, the network’s primary admin should open their Zello app and follow the steps below:

  1. Open your Zello menu. If operating on an Android device, select Options. If operating on an iOS device, proceed to the next step.

To Note

  • Only admins can change a network's subscription.

  • Upgrades (e.g. increases in user count OR switches from a Core to Plus subscription) will take effect immediately. Downgrades (e.g. decreases in user count) will take effect the next billing cycle.

  • It's only possible to decrease your user count to a number equal to or greater than the number of users currently provisioned for your network. For example, if my network has 5 active users communicating on Zello, I can't decrease my billed user count to a number less than 5.
